AlgoLift is the no-code platform that tells traders whether their strategy passes a prop-firm evaluation — before they pay for it. Traders build strategies on a visual canvas, backtest them tick-by-tick on real order-book data, and simulate the full prop lifecycle across dozens of real firm rulesets. We're a small, senior, remote-first team building serious quantitative tooling for a market that's been stuck with spreadsheets and guesswork.
About the role
Our copilot builds and edits strategies from plain English and reads backtest results without flattering them. You'll own the agent: its tool-use, its retrieval, and the guardrails that keep it from calling an overfit result an edge.
What you'll do
- Build and improve the tool-using copilot agent that edits strategy graphs and interprets results.
- Design retrieval (RAG) over our product knowledge and a user's own runs.
- Engineer prompts, evals, and guardrails that keep the copilot accurate and honest.
- Ship the plumbing — streaming, tool routing, usage metering — behind the chat surface.
- Measure quality rigorously and close the loop with real usage.
What we're looking for
- 4+ years in software, with hands-on LLM application experience (agents, tool-use, RAG).
- Fluency with the modern AI stack (e.g. the AI SDK, LangChain, a vector store).
- Strong engineering fundamentals in TypeScript and/or Python.
- A healthy skepticism about model output and a habit of evaluating it.
Bonus points
- Experience building evals or agent guardrails at scale.
- Trading / quant domain knowledge.
- You've shipped a production LLM feature end to end.
