Inconclusive means the strategy ran out of history, never counted as a pass. Resamples your trade distribution, not eval ticks.

The rule engine

Your firm's rules, to the letter.

Prop outcomes are strategy volatility × rule geometry × sizing. The simulator models every part of the geometry — not a simplified version of it.

Account size & profit target

Per-phase account size and profit target — evaluation and funded, modeled separately.

Trailing drawdown

End of Day, Fixed, or Real Time — the difference decides most evals, and it's a dropdown.

Daily loss limit

The intraday floor that ends a day (and sometimes an account) the moment it's touched.

Consistency rule

Caps how much of your profit can come from a single day — the rule that quietly fails funded traders.

Minimum trading days

How many active days the firm requires before you can pass or withdraw.

Payouts, resets & scaling

Payout schedule, reset fees, and contract scaling — the full economics, not just the target.

Monte-Carlo evaluations

Ten thousand evaluations, not one.

The simulator replays your strategy's trade distribution through thousands of evaluation attempts against your firm's rules. You get the full split — passed, breached, and inconclusive — plus a breakdown of exactly which rule ended the failing attempts and the median days it took the passing ones.

Position-Size Optimizer

The size that fixes it.

Sweep contract size from 0.5× to 3× and watch the pass rate rise, peak, then fall as bigger size hits the drawdown first. The simulator hands you the size with the best simulated odds — with the honest caveat that anything above 1× is a ceiling, not a guarantee.

Why it's different

Stop donating evaluation fees.

The old way
  • Pay $150+ per attempt to find out if your strategy holds up.
  • Guess which rule keeps ending your run.
  • Size by gut, then blow the drawdown.
  • One historical backtest that flatters you.
With AlgoLift
  • Run thousands of simulated attempts before you pay a cent.
  • See the exact failure mode that dominates — and how often.
  • Get the contract size that maximizes your simulated pass rate.
  • A distribution of ten thousand futures, tails and all.
Questions

Prop-eval questions, answered.

Topstep (50K/100K/150K) and Apex (50K/100K) ship as presets modeled on their published rules. Any other firm can be entered as a fully custom ruleset — account size, profit target, trailing type, daily loss, consistency, and minimum days. Presets are modeled on publicly available rules and can change, so verify current terms with your firm.

End of Day trails your balance at each session close; Real Time trails your peak intraday equity; Fixed sets a static floor. Real Time is the strictest and quietly fails the most evaluations — which is exactly why the simulator lets you match your firm's type instead of assuming one.

No. It's an estimate from resampling your strategy's trade distribution across thousands of evaluations — not a promise. Position-size results above 1× are a ceiling, not a guarantee, and the card says so. It tells you your odds and what's driving them; it doesn't tell you you'll pass.

Yes. The simulation runs against the account size and rules you select, so a 50K Combine and a 150K account produce different pass rates, failure modes, and recommended sizing for the same strategy.
