Privacy Policy

Last modified: October 19, 2026

Introduction

AlgoLift (“Company”, “we” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy describes:

  • The types of information we may collect or that you may provide when you access or use our website, applications, and other products or services, including the AlgoLift platform for building, backtesting, and analyzing trading strategies (collectively or individually, the “Service”).
  • Our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

This Privacy Policy DOES NOT apply to information that:

  • We collect offline or on any websites you may access through the Service.
  • You provide to or is collected by any third party (see Third-Party Information Collection).

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our policies and practices regarding your information and how we will treat it. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, do not access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service you agree to this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy may change from time to time (see Changes to Our Privacy Policy). Your continued use of the Service after we revise this Privacy Policy means you accept those changes, so please check the Privacy Policy periodically for updates.

Information We Collect and How We Collect It

We collect the following information directly from you:

  • Account information, such as your name, email address, and sign-in details, when you create an account. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider; we do not store your password.
  • Billing information, such as your plan, billing history, and the last digits and expiry of your card. Your full card number is collected and stored by our payment processor, not by us.
  • Content you create, such as strategies, projects, backtest settings and results, notes, chart layouts, drawings, and the settings you choose.
  • Conversations with the copilot, meaning the messages you send to the Service’s artificial intelligence features and the replies they produce.
  • Public content, such as a public profile, a handle, the people you follow, and results you choose to publish as a public share (a “Proof”).
  • Communications, such as messages you send to support, bug reports, feedback, survey answers (for example, how you heard about us), newsletter sign-ups, and job applications.

We also collect some information automatically and from our service providers, as described below.

You may also provide information for publication or display (“Post”) on public areas of the Service (collectively, “User Contributions”). Your User Contributions are Posted and transmitted to others at your own risk. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of third parties with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.

Information We Collect Automatically

  • Usage information. We record how the Service is used, such as the pages you view, the features you use, the backtests and other jobs you run, and how you arrived at our website (for example, the referring site or campaign). We collect this with our own first-party measurement, not with advertising or analytics cookies, and you can opt out of it in your account settings.
  • Device and connection information, such as your browser type, operating system, screen size, and IP address. We use your IP address to keep the Service secure (for example, to limit abusive traffic) and to estimate the country you are in; our product analytics store the country, not the IP address.
  • Error and performance information, such as error reports and page load times, which help us find and fix problems.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

  • Cookies. We use cookies that are needed to sign you in and keep your session secure, and a cookie set by our referral partner program to record which partner link, if any, brought you to us. We do not use advertising cookies. If you block cookies, you may be unable to sign in.
  • Browser storage. We store some preferences in your browser’s local storage, along with a random identifier our product analytics use to count visits.
  • Payment pages. When you check out, our payment processor may set its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud.

Service Providers

We use service providers to run the Service. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services to us. They include providers of:

  • Sign-in and account management.
  • Payment processing and subscription billing.
  • Hosting, computing, and data storage.
  • Artificial intelligence model providers, for the Service’s artificial intelligence features. The messages you send to the copilot, and the strategy and results information the copilot needs to answer them, are sent to these providers to generate replies.
  • Email delivery.
  • Real-time updates, rate limiting, and error monitoring.
  • Page and performance measurement without cookies.
  • Our referral partner program.

If you use your browser’s voice dictation in the Service, your browser may send the audio to its own provider for speech recognition. That processing is governed by your browser provider’s terms.

How We Use Your Information

We use information that we collect about you or that you provide to us, including any personal information, to:

  • Provide you with the Service and its contents, and any other information or services that you request from us.

  • Send you emails about your account and the Service, such as receipts, run and billing notices, and tips for getting started. You can turn off non-essential emails at any time.
  • Fulfill any other purpose for which you provide it.

In addition, we may disclose personal information that we collect, or you provide:

  • To our subsidiaries and affiliates.
  • To the public, when you choose to publish content, such as a public profile or a Proof. You control what a Proof shows, and you can withdraw it.
  • To a referral partner, if you arrived through that partner’s link: the partner can see that a person they referred signed up or subscribed, but not your strategies or results.
  • To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our business and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
  • To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding, in which personal information held us about our users is among the assets transferred.
  • To fulfill the purpose for which you provide it.

  • If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of AlgoLift.

  • Public content. You can make your profile private and withdraw any Proof you have published.
  • Cookies. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, although you may then be unable to sign in.
  • Deleting your account. You can delete your account from Settings, as described under Retention of Your Information.

  • You have the right to request copies of your personal information.

  • You have the right to request that AlgoLift erase your personal information.
  • You have the right to request that AlgoLift restrict the processing of your personal information.

“Do Not Track” Disclosure

We do not collect or respond to Do Not Track signals and our websites do not function differently based on any Do Not Track preferences that may be received. For more information on Do Not Track signals, please visit https://allaboutdnt.com/.

Data Security

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure.

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Service, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share your username, password, or any other account details with anyone.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet and mobile platforms is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted through our Service. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for the consequences of any attempt you make to circumvent any privacy settings or security measures we provide, including any consequences of attempting to share your account with another person.

Retention of Your Information

  • We will retain your personal information only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy unless otherwise required by law. We will retain and use your personal information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
  • We will also retain usage data for internal analysis purposes. Usage data is generally retained for a shorter time period, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of our Service or we are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.
  • When you delete a copilot conversation, it is removed from your account, but we keep a copy so we can review the quality and safety of the copilot, until your account is deleted.
  • When you delete a backtest or other result, we may keep a de-identified copy of it, with nothing that identifies you, for research and to improve the Service.
  • You can delete your account from Settings. Your account is kept for 30 days in case you change your mind: signing back in during that time restores it. After 30 days we delete your strategies, projects, results, conversations, profile and settings. Residual copies may persist in our backups for up to 90 days after your deletion request, after which they are deleted too. Billing, payment and referral commission records are kept, without your name or email, for as long as the law requires.

Where Your Information is Held

Your personal information may be held in our possession in the United States. Depending on where you are located and the information provided to us, the personal information may be transferred to and maintained by us on servers located in the United States, which may not have the same data protection laws. However, we take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable law. By providing such information through the Service, you hereby expressly consent to such transfer and processing of your data personal information into the United States.

The Service is not intended for children under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect any personal and/or identifiable information from children under 18. If we learn we have collected or received any personal and/or identifiable information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any personal and/or identifiable information from or about a child under 18 please contact us at support@algolift.ai.
