AlgoLift is the no-code platform that tells traders whether their strategy passes a prop-firm evaluation — before they pay for it. Traders build strategies on a visual canvas, backtest them tick-by-tick on real order-book data, and simulate the full prop lifecycle across dozens of real firm rulesets. We're a small, senior, remote-first team building serious quantitative tooling for a market that's been stuck with spreadsheets and guesswork.
About the role
You'll build the heart of AlgoLift: the visual strategy builder, the results and analytics tabs, and the flows that turn a raw backtest into an answer. This is a high-ownership role across the whole stack — from ReactFlow canvas interactions to the API routes and data plumbing behind them.
What you'll do
- Design and ship features across the builder, results analysis, and prop-simulation surfaces in our Next.js 14 / TypeScript app.
- Turn dense quantitative data into fast, legible interfaces with React, Zustand, and our charting stack.
- Build and harden the API routes and Postgres/Prisma models behind them.
- Own features end to end — from spec and design partnership through rollout, metrics, and iteration.
- Keep the app fast and reliable as data volume and the user base grow.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years building production web apps, with deep React and TypeScript experience.
- Comfort across the stack: Next.js (App Router), Node APIs, and a relational database.
- A track record of shipping complex, stateful UIs — not just CRUD screens.
- Strong product instincts and an eye for how things look and feel.
- Self-directed in a remote, async team.
Bonus points
- Experience with data-dense or real-time UIs (charts, canvases, dashboards).
- Familiarity with trading, finance, or another quantitative domain.
- You've worked with ReactFlow, D3, or WebGL/canvas rendering.
