Conduct
- Inactivity closure · Every Intraday size
Consecutive calendar days without a trade after which the firm may close the account; null when there is no such rule.
30 calendar days

- Minimum activity
Any other activity the firm requires to keep the account open (a trade every week, qualifying days in a rolling window), as it states it.
At least 2 trading days with $50 or more of net profit in any rolling 30 calendar days, or the funded account closes.

- Activation deadline · Funded account · Every Intraday size
Calendar days after passing the evaluation within which the funded account must be activated (and its fee paid); null when there is none.
7 calendar days

- Identity check · Every Apex account
When the firm checks the trader's identity: before purchase, before funding, or before the first payout.
The profile must match the trader's identity document from sign-up; identity details (SSN or TIN for US users, a government ID or passport for others) are given when setting up the payout method before the first payout; the broker runs its own identity check before a live account.

- Breaking a rule · Every Apex account
What the firm does when a rule is broken (a soft breach that pauses the day, a hard breach that closes the account, profits withheld), as it states it.
Touching the drawdown threshold fails the evaluation or closes the PA at once; hitting the daily loss limit only stops trading for the day; hedging and other prohibited activity close the account immediately, and holding through the close or sharing accounts can forfeit accounts and balances; lesser breaches can lead to Trader Probation.

- Firm's discretion · Every Apex account
Decisions the firm reserves to itself (reviews before a payout or a live move, closing accounts it judges to break the spirit of the rules).
Apex may change its rules at any time, audit accounts and request verification when it suspects non-compliance, place traders on probation, and move a trader from simulation to live whenever it chooses.

Simulating the Apex Intraday 50K
AlgoLift's prop simulator runs a strategy's trades through this plan's rules: 55 of its recorded rules exactly as stated, 10 as an approximation. The rules listed as not modelled change an account's outcome but are not simulated yet, so a simulated pass rate leaves them out.
How the prop simulator worksApproximated
- Evaluation steps: The simulator runs one evaluation phase, or none on an instant-funding plan; a second step is not simulated.
- Hitting the daily loss limit: The simulator stops trading for the day at the limit and keeps the account open; a limit that fails the account is not simulated.
- Floor checked against open profit: The simulator checks the floor against each trade's worst excursion inside the trade.
- Going over the consistency share: The simulator caps the day at the share of the target and stops trading for the day, which reads the same as a pass that waits.
- When the pass is judged: The simulator passes the evaluation on the trade that reaches the target, once every other condition holds.
- Floor checked against open profit: The simulator checks the floor against each trade's worst excursion inside the trade.
- Payout schedule: The simulator applies the calendar days between payouts; processing days are not simulated.
- Profit in every payout cycle: Holds whenever the profit counted from the last payout must be positive (payouts.min_profit since the last payout).
- Trading hours: The backtest's session window applies the hours before the simulation; the simulation itself does not read them (retired 2026-08-15).
- Flat by: The simulator reads a trading-hours end as the time trading stops.
Not modelled yet
- Trailing drawdown stop by platform: Rithmic: stops at the profit target's balance; WealthCharts: stops at the profit target's balance; Tradovate: never stops
- Commissions: Charged per side by platform. Rithmic: equity index minis $1.99 a side ($3.98 round turn), equity micros $0.51 a side. Tradovate and WealthCharts: equity index minis $1.55 a side ($3.10 round turn), equity micros $0.52 a side. Other products have their own rates on each platform's schedule.
- News trading: Allowed
- News rule: No blackout window. Strategies that chase news or place orders on both sides of a release to gamble on the outcome are banned.
- Holding overnight: Not allowed
- Holding over the weekend: Not allowed
- Loss per trade: Every trade needs a pending or mental stop; risking far more than the target (for example a 5 tick target against a 150 tick stop) is banned, and the full drawdown threshold may not be used as the stop.
- Price limits: Live traders must stay out of limit-up and limit-down market conditions and follow CME rules.
- Inactivity closure: 30 calendar days
- Minimum activity: At least 2 trading days with $50 or more of net profit in any rolling 30 calendar days, or the funded account closes.
What the simulation leaves out
- The drawdown's stop differs by platform; the simulation uses one stop for every platform (the plan's evaluation.drawdown_stops_at).
- The firm judges the pass at the day's close; the simulation passes when the target is reached, assuming the trader stops trading for the day there.
- The firm's commissions are not added: the run's own commission setting applies.
- The firm's trading hours and flat-by time are applied by the backtest's session window, not by this simulation: a run that held past them is flagged, never re-priced.
- Per-trade risk rules are not simulated.
- Price-limit rules are not simulated.
- Inactivity rules are not simulated: a strategy that sits out keeps its account here.

Test your strategy against the Apex Intraday 50K rules before you pay the fee.
AlgoLift runs your strategy’s trades through an account’s rules, thousands of times in different orders: how often it would pass, the rule that ends it most often, and what passing is likely to cost in fees and resets. An estimate from past trades, never a promise.
Rules checked against the firms’ own pages, most recently on 19 October 2026. This is a summary of each firm’s published rules, not financial advice and not a recommendation of any firm. Firms change their rules and prices; read the firm’s own page before you buy. Facts are paraphrased and linked to their source. Firm names are used only to say which firm a rule belongs to; they belong to their owners, and AlgoLift is not affiliated with or endorsed by any firm.
